Gotta say, Canon couldn’t hope for better PR than to keep tabs on all the HD video shot with the 5D MKII DSLR. This video was shot and edited by Aaron Mendez over three days in Dubai, UAE. Deep, saturated colors combined with the metal and glass of this very modern cityscape make for a beautiful video.

UPDATE: Apparently, the producer of this video has chosen to make it password-protected so that no one (i.e. the public) can see it. We find that odd, since it was gaining a fair bit of viewer traction through various other online outlets, and it’s such stunning piece of work – it’s a shame. However, we respect their wishes and sincerely hope they make other videos that we can all enjoy.

I lived in Singapore for a year, but it was prior to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark being built. This structure looks like something out of Star Wars, or something designed by H.R. Giger (which would make it ‘Alien’, I realize that, but work with us here!) Now, imagine jumping off it into Singaporean traffic!
