MORE ENTREE TO ASIA

As we head into the middle of March and the arrival of Spring (and none too soon!), we want to draw your attention to the growing number of episodes available on the Entrée To Asia cooking and travel video website.

The site has now includes ten half-hour videos and extras, each containing mouth-watering glimpses of Southeast Asian travel and culture, but especially the food. Exotic, but easy to prepare dishes abound, along with recipes for the best of the best.

Here is the latest edition – Green Chicken Curry at the famous Suan Thip Restaurant, nestled alongside an unusually quiet section of the historic Chao Phraya River in exciting Bangkok. You can also wander over to the main ETA site and where you’ll find all manner of food and travel tidbits about Southeast Asia, or hop over to the ETA YouTube channel and pick and choose your favourite country or dish.

Technology continues to march forward at a furious futuristic pace. Not so long ago, quality video of any kind required equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars and days — weeks, even — spent editing and color correcting. Keep that in your mind while you watch this delicious video from Moscow-based Art Island shot entirely on an Apple iPhone!

UPDATE: Some weeks back, the producers of the terrific video ‘3 Days In Dubai’ blocked access to their video here on Wanderism (and likely other websites as well). While we respect their wishes — it is THEIR property, after all — we were hoping they would once again allow access so we could continue our goal of bringing you the best of the best TLogs out there. Well, they did. It is indeed available again, right here.
