Thanks to the Schengen agreement, it’s much easier to cross international frontiers in Europe. If not for the markings on this bike path, you’d never know you were pedaling around the international borders between Baarle-Hertog and Baarle-Nassau.

Snooping around in some boxes recently, looking for some old research material for a new project I’m pursuing, I found an old thoroughly beaten steno pad.
